Description

The Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and the Young Scholars Initiative (YSI) are excited to announce the Call for Papers for the upcoming Economic History Job Market Workshop, to be held on November 8-9, 2024, at the University of Southern Denmark, Odense in association with the Historical Economics and Development Group (HEDG).

Workshop Objective:

The workshop aims to provide a unique platform for emerging scholars in economic history to present their job market papers in a flyout seminar context, receive feedback from established researchers, and network with peers and senior academics. This event is designed to help job market candidates refine their research and enhance their presentation skills in preparation for the academic job market. The workshop will follow a “Bring Your Own Student” format, where supervisors are expected to attend alongside their PhD students and play the role of flyout seminar audience during the presentations. Participation is open to all.
