Description
The Course is jointly organized by Sapienza University of Rome, the University of Urbino Carlo Bo and Scuola Normale Superiore, in collaboration with Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, Marche Polytechnic University and Roma Tre University. It is designed for Ph.D. students, post-docs, and young scholars.
Delivered in English, the Course covers a wide range of topics, including innovation, growth, global value chains and structural change. It integrates theoretical lectures with presentations of empirical research and practical sessions using STATA software. The course also features the presentation of Giovanni Dosi’s book ‘The Foundations of Complex Evolving Economies’.
The 19th edition is supported by YSI, offering partial scholarships and fee reductions to selected participants. Note that acceptance into the course does not automatically imply receiving economic support.
For those interested in applying for financial support from YSI, please indicate this in the application form. Only early bird applications submitted by 10 March 2024 will be considered for partial YSI scholarships. Preference will be given to participants residing outside of the EU, with consideration given to the geographical distance from Rome.
