Description

During the first edition of the YSI-IUC web-seminar series held in April 2019, Professor Jan Toporowski (SOAS) presented a lecture titled “Can Mark Carney/Mario Draghi/Jay Powell do it? The scope of the Central Bank” where he traversed the historical arguments and contemporary issues on the scope and operations of central banks. In this series, he will reflect on his previous presentation in a post-pandemic setting.
