Description

Join us at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) for a pre-conference dedicated to the latest advances in Macroeconomic Agent-Based Models (ABMs). This event provides a unique opportunity to learn from leading experts in the field and engage with peers in a stimulating environment.

The pre-conference will take place at at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) on April 28, right before the conference “Microdata in Macromodels” at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) on 29 and 30 April

Participants of the pre-conference will be warmly invited to attend the related conference. The full program is available at the following link: https://sites.google.com/view/microdata-in-macromodels/home. Participants who wish to present their work can submit an extended abstract or full paper of them. They might be allowed to present in a dedicated session during the conference.

The two-days conference will bring together researchers from diverse modeling fields, including MABM, HANK, and microsimulations fostering dialogue and collaboration across methodologies. The event aims to build bridges among those communities and explore challenges and innovative solutions in using microdata for macroeconomic modeling and will feature guest lectures by Prof. Cars Hommes (Bank of Canada/University of Amsterdam) and Dr. Martin Spielauer (Austrian Institute of Economic Research).
