Description
Agent-based models (ABM) are a powerful and growing tool that can address the complexity of the economy. As this field grows, we see an increasing number of master and Ph.D. students using this tool in their research on a wide range of topics.
This event will be a one-day workshop in which participants will present their research with ABM (from project ideas to finished papers) and receive comments from their fellow young scholars and professors. It will be a very friendly atmosphere and we hope that the discussions at the workshop contribute to the young scholars' current and future research. The presentations can be in Portuguese, English or Spanish.
The event will take place at the Institute of Economics of the University of Campinas in Campinas, Brazil, on November 4th, 2022. The call for participants will be open for students interested in presenting their work or just attending the event. We will offer selected travel stipends and accommodation to selected students.
The deadline for applications is October 10th.
