???? Join us in person in Mexico City or online for a critical exploration of inflation targeting through the lenses of Keynes and Kalecki. This workshop will examine how monetary policy shapes economic dynamics, challenging orthodox frameworks and highlighting alternative perspectives rooted in heterodox economics.

Our distinguished speakers include:

  • Jan Toporowski, a leading post-Keynesian economist, professor at SOAS University of London, and an expert in monetary economics and financial instability. and the work of Michał Kalecki.
  • Malcolm Sawyer, an influential heterodox economist and Emeritus Professor at the University of Leeds, known for his work on post-Keynesian macroeconomics, financial systems, and critiques of neoliberal economic policies.
  • Noemí Levy, a prominent structuralist-Keynesian economist and professor at UNAM, specializing in financialization, economic development, and the role of monetary policy in shaping growth trajectories in Latin America.
