This workshop will examine how monetary policy shapes economic dynamics, challenging orthodox frameworks and highlighting alternative perspectives rooted in heterodox economics.
Our distinguished speakers include:
- Jan Toporowski, a leading post-Keynesian economist, professor at SOAS University of London, and an expert in monetary economics and financial instability. and the work of Michał Kalecki.
- Malcolm Sawyer, an influential heterodox economist and Emeritus Professor at the University of Leeds, known for his work on post-Keynesian macroeconomics, financial systems, and critiques of neoliberal economic policies.
- Noemí Levy, a prominent structuralist-Keynesian economist and professor at UNAM, specializing in financialization, economic development, and the role of monetary policy in shaping growth trajectories in Latin America.
