Description

This week we will be talking about the properties of something being alive and how to model them using computer programs.
To relate this with Economics we ask you to think about economic examples that showcase:

  • Autonomy
  • Metabolism
  • Self-reproduction
  • Survival instinct
  • Evolution and adaptation

When you read about genetic algorithms consider the applicability of their method, and possible usage. (for this please assume an utopian context or at least advanced data collection compared with quantum computing)
Also consider the strategy itself and how it has been utilized by different producers or actors across human history.

Looking forward to discuss with you on Sunday,
