Pre-conference workshop- 24th NEEA Annual Conference

South Asia Working Group is collaborating with North Eastern Economic Association (NEEA) to organize a one day pre-conference workshop at the 24th Annual Conference of the North Eastern Economic Association and National Seminar. The Pre-Conference will be a one day event organized on 8th February, 2024 which will be followed by the NEEA annual conference on February 9-10, 2024 at S.B.Deorah College, Ulubari, Guwahati.

All participants and paper presenters at the NEEA conference are invited to participate at the YSI-South Asia WG pre-conference event. For those of you who have missed the deadline to submit abstract for NEEA conference can submit them using the application link for the workshop. The extended deadline for abstract submission and application for participation at the pre-conference workshop is December 28, 2023.

About the workshop:

The pre-conference workshop will focus on research methodology as it forms the foundation of any scientific investigation and is essential for conducting rigorous and meaningful scientific investigations. YSI South Asia Working Group in collaboration with North Eastern Economics Association is hosting the workshop on the following two topics:

1. Qualitative Research Methods: delves into the nuanced world of qualitative inquiry, equipping students with the tools to conduct in-depth research. Participants will gain insights into designing qualitative studies, collecting and analyzing qualitative data, and interpreting findings.
2. Introduction to Data Analysis Software R: This session will be a hands-on-session.

Selected young scholars will be provided boarding and lodging facilities to attend the workshop. But travel expenses have to be borne by the young scholar and shall not be reimbursed.

Certificate of participation in workshop will be given to the participants.

Limited Seats: Only 30 participants will be selected for this workshop.
