YSI @ 25th ETSG Conference 2024

The European Trade Study Group (ETSG) is a collaborative forum for academic discussion on international trade, involving universities and research institutes such as Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, Politecnico di Milano, University of Bern, and University of Groningen. This year’s annual conference will be held at the Athens School of Economics & Business from September 12 to 14. YSI will collaborate to encourage young scholars to participate in the conference.

Young scholars will have the opportunity to present their research at the main conference and receive feedback from senior scholars and various experts in the field. Additionally, a networking event with YSI participants will be organized to foster connections among attendees.

Participants who have already been accepted to present at the main conference will be eligible to receive a partial travel stipend and accommodation for the conference. The selection criteria will be based on the residence location due to budget constraints; therefore, we can only consider applicants from the region or those closer to Europe. Additionally, we encourage participation from women, scholars from the global south, and minority groups.

The selected young scholars will be requested to send  an screenshot showing that the conference fee has been paid and their ETSG 3-digit paper number. Please, consider that this fee will not be refund by YSI. The funding will only cover accomodation and partial travel stepends.
