Description

YSI Day @ EPOG 2022 is a chance to introduce YSI to the community of EPOG alumni at the annual EPOG masters program conference in Syros, Greece from July 3-7.

The event will consist of a presentation of both YSI and of a number of YSI working groups followed by a project-building session to create YSI project proposals for the academic year 2022/2023. The aim of the event is to find finds ways for EPOG alumni, faculty and partners to more closely collaborate with the various YSI working groups.

EPOG alumni who are already involved with YSI will be asked to shortly present their working groups and to facilitate brainstorming sessions with other alumni interested in the topic of their working group. The event will also include a YSI-EPOG lunch event.

EPOG (Economic POlicies for the Global transition) is a master’s programme that has been created in 2012 with the support of the European Commission, under the “Erasmus Mundus Master’s Course” label. For seven cohorts (2013-2021), the programme has trained in political economy more than 250 outstanding students from all over the world, with a strong emphasis on critical and institutionalist approaches.

At the moment, EPOG includes two master’s programmes, EPOG 2 and EPOG+. You can read more about them here and here.
