Description

The Keynesian Working Group announces a call for papers for a YSI panel on the Workshop of the Tuscan PhD in Economics. The meeting is organized and hosted by the Universities of Florence, Pisa, and Siena, Italy.

The YSI Round Table will take place at the Certosa di Pontignano in the province of Siena, Italy, on June 19.

The Round Table will be a great opportunity to bring together young researchers to present their work, receive feedback from colleagues, and discuss potential collaborations. If selected, you will be invited to present a recent work. Selections will be made based on merit (partial travel stipends, and accommodation will be available for selected participants).

We invite young scholars to tackle relevant theoretical and empirical topics in recent economic debates. Applications on a broad range of economic topics and methodologies are welcome, in particular those addressing existing puzzles in economic theory, state-of-art methodologies of research, macroeconomic theory and policy, the ecological transition, inequality, and the main topics on current economic debates.

Young scholars will be invited to briefly present their research agenda and ongoing research projects. In this way, young scholars can discuss early career pathways on academia. Participants are also invited to follow the PhD meeting, and contribute to the discussions of papers presented by other young researchers.

Participants are also invited to a social dinner after the round table.
