The YSI Workshop @ COP30, held during COP30 in Belém, Brazil, brings together young scholars, activists, and policymakers to explore the challenges of climate change negotiations with a focus on justice and sustainability. Through interactive sessions in the Green Zone, negotiation simulations, and expert-led discussions, the workshop will delve into themes such as climate governance, equity in climate finance, and the Amazon’s critical role in achieving a ‘Just Transition.’ Participants will gain practical insights, network with global experts, and develop actionable ideas to address the pressing challenges of climate negotiations. Join us to shape the future of climate action in the heart of the Amazon.
