Description
Complexity science studies systems in which many interacting components give rise to emergent collective behaviour, spanning ecosystems, digital societies, and the dynamics of economies and financial markets.
The Complexity72h workshop fosters this interdisciplinary environment through an intensive, collaborative, research-oriented format: participants from different backgrounds form small teams, each guided by an early-career tutor who proposes and leads a project, and complete a full exploratory research cycle within 72 hours, from scientific question to drafting a research report.
Now in its 8th edition, the workshop has a track record of seeding durable collaborations: projects begun at Complexity72h have matured into peer-reviewed studies spanning a broad range of topics and methods, including socio-economic systems and the questions of complexity economics.
