Description

The Call for Participants for the 7th International PhD Workshop in Economics of Innovation, Complexity and Knowledge (WICK #7) is open! The annual meeting promoted by the Vilfredo Pareto Doctoral Program in Economics, University of Turin, BRICK and Collegio Carlo Alberto will take place on January 8–9, 2020 in Turin.

The aim of the workshop as part of the YSI Complexity Working Group is to bring together PhD students from all over the world working in the broad fields of Economics of Innovation, Complexity and Knowledge. The workshop will provide participants with a great opportunity to network with peers researching on similar topics and to receive feedbacks from both junior and senior scholars.

Main theme: The main topics of the workshop are Economics of Knowledge and Innovation, with a special focus on Firm and Regional Innovation Strategies, Economics of Science, Economics of Networks, Energy and Environmental Economics and their policy implications. Econometric contributions, as well as Complex Network Analysis and computational methods, such as Agent-Based Models, are very welcome.
