The Young Scholars Initiative (YSI)’s Latin America and Complexity Economics Working Groups, in association with the XVIII Latin Iberoamerican Conference of the Association of Technological Management (ALTEC 2019) event and the Latin American Network for Economics of Learning, Innovation and Competence Building Systems (LALICS) would like to invite young scholar to submit their work to the PhD Forum ALTEC/LALICS/YSI.
This activity is part of the activities of the ALTEC 2019 event, organized by the Pontificia Bolivariana University (UPB), Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (UPB), Universidad Nacional de Colombia (UNAL), Universidad de Antioquia (UdeA), Instituto Tecnológico Metropolitano (ITM), Universidad EAFIT and Institución Universitaria CEIPA, which is going to take place between the 31st October to 1st November of 2019 in Medellín/Colombia.
The PhD Forum ALTEC/LALICS/YSI offers an opportunity for young scholars, who are writing their thesis in the area of Technology Management and Innovation, to present the advancements of their research in a friendly and stimulating environment, receiving feedback and benefiting from professors and researchers with extensive experience, familiar with the proposed research topic.

  1. Contents
    A single PDF document should be prepared with the following content:
    a) A cover page with the title of the thesis project, the name of the PhD student and the thesis advisor, the PhD program, the institution, the country and the date.
    b) An extended summary of the thesis project from 5 to 8
